About department

The department of Biomechanics and Motor Behavior was established on basis of Council of Higher Education resolution in its 15th session which was held on 15/7/1429H. To achieve the university's vision, the department aspires to be a scientific and educational destination and a distinguished source of sport sciences and physical education theories and applications regionally and internationally. It also seeks to contribute in a qualitative and distinctive way to meet the community needs. In addition, the department aims to prepare specialists in sport sciences and physical activities fields in accordance with targeted quality standards to address the demand of various community sectors.

    Mission

    The department of Biomechanics and Motor Behavior pursues to prepare and train specialists in sport sciences and physical activities in accordance with targeted quality standards to address a need of various community sectors.

     

    Objectives

    Preparing highly qualified cadres in fields related to physical education and sport (exercise sciences., sport coaching, Biomechanics and Motor Behavior) to develop physical and health education, recreation and sport coaching.
