About the College
The College of Sport Sciences and Physical Activity has emerged following the decision of the Council of Higher Education in its fiftieth session held on 10/7/1429 H. This decision has led to the integration of the College of Physical Education and Sport, which was founded in 1384 H and has recently joined KSU, with the Department of Physical Education and Movement Sciences at the College of Education of KSU which was established in 01/03/1397 H. The emerging new College has been established with a view to build on the wealth of experience of over 30 years in the field of sport-related programs and to lead future development and provision of professional and academic programs in this field, including the validation of programs of study at Bachelors, Masters and PhD degree levels. These programs will be characterized by their high quality, flexibility and currency with regard to global developments in the field as well as satisfying local and regional needs.
