The study aimed to identify the extent to which the teachers of physical education applied to teaching competencies according to their different roles, As well as identify differences in the extent of application of teaching competencies from the point of view of teachers of physical education and students, The researcher used the descriptive approach because of its relevance to this study and achieving its objectives, The sample of the research was chosen from the teachers of physical education from some governorates of the Republic of Yemen, and they numbered (78) teachers, And students from the third secondary school from the schools of Amanah, the capital of the participants in the physical education programs, and the number of (200) students, The following statistical methods were used: - Coefficient of torsion, correlation coefficient, alpha chromabach coefficient, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and relative importance.

The results of the study showed that the extent of application of physical education teachers to teaching competencies related to the objectives of teaching, and the relationship of teacher to students, and the functions of the teacher, Came to a medium degree, As was the extent of the application of teaching competencies related to low-grade calendar, There are statistically significant differences in the extent of teachers' application of teaching competencies in favor of students in fields, There were no statistically significant differences in the fourth field, The researcher recommended that the Ministry of Education adopt a clear and specific strategy to activate and establish special courses and workshops aimed at raising the efficiency of teachers and teachers of physical education, And the inclusion of the subject of teaching competencies as an independent subject taught centrally in the faculties of physical education.
